Chiswick Residence

Featured in the Financial Times “How to Spend It”, my work (with 51% Studios) transformed a Victorian house in Chiswick into a modern space for the family to live and play.

As collectors of contemporary art and modernist furniture, the interiors play on the relationship between old and new – Victorian and Modernist.

A new extension across the back of the house, maximises views to the garden while also framing three distinct spatial features of the reconfigured interior – the open plan sitting room & dining room, the cherry lined hallway (formed of panelling and cabinetry) and the kitchen.

The article in the FT, looked at the work of three young architects; including myself, and how we were addressing the needs of clients through our design and practice.
